Wisdom: The Path of a Child
Wisdom is usually applied expertise. Someone who is wise uses the ability taught to them by way of a mentors and discovers new pieces of know-how. Throughout this unit, my definition of wisdom has not changed, but instead, provides expanded. In the beginning, I thought knowledge only revolved around interactions to people and common sense, yet I found that it also revolved around spiritual items. Section 1: Wise means of the world
Okonkwo is not really a person with common sense. This individual attempts to shoot certainly one of his spouses in a suit of fury during the Week of Peacefulness, something that can be frowned upon by the Igbo society. If he previously more common impression, he would not need attempted to capture his wife, no matter how upset he was, and instead, he would have isolated him self from his family in his quarters and so he didn't have to hurt anybody or perhaps attempt to accomplish that. Another thing he could've carried out is breathe deeply and think about what he was going to do. He has to calm down to be able to think forward, and have the Right View, in order to understand that people have imperfections. In that case he needs to have the Right Goal, which includes creating a resistance to anger, something Okonkwo clearly contains a problem performing. Being upset all the time clouds up the mental part of existence and impairs the ability to the actual right items at the proper times. Someone can the actual right things, but at the wrong some it seems like they did not the actual right thing. (194 words)
Section 2: Moral and Intellectual Wisdom
