Stress is unavoidable in our society. Researchers in stress inform you that, to in to the complex area of pressure, especially in for the area of occupational stress, is incredibly difficult. Tension is an unavoidable consequence of modern living. During the past decade, the banking sector got under absent rapid and striking adjustments like coverage changes because of globalisation and liberalisation, improved competition due to the entrance of more personal (corporate) sector banks, downsizing, introduction of recent technologies, and so forth Due to these changes, employees in the banking sector happen to be experiencing if you are an00 of tension. In light of the above, the present study attempt to throw light on the numerous problems of occupational pressure among banking professionals particularly the Nationalised bank staff. For conference the objective Occupational Stress Index (OSI) constructed by Srivastava and Singh was used in the study. The 46 item questionnaire is definitely categorised into 12 subwoofer scales specifically Role Overburden, Role Halving, Role Discord, Unreasonable Group and Personal Pressure, Responsibility for People, Under Involvement, Powerlessness, Poor Peer Relationships, Intrinsic Impoverishment, Low Position, Strenuous Working Conditions and Unprofitability.
